District Governor's Goals
1 Have a net gain in membership – continue to work on membership in existing clubs = net increase: ________
2 Firmly establish one (1) new Lions Clubs: New Club = ____________________ and one (1) LEO club ____________________
3 Ninety percent (90%) of the Clubs participate in a meaningful and visible service project.
4 Have 100% club participation in White Cane Day and Send a Kid to Camp.
5 All clubs maintain a sound financial status and pay LCI and District bills on time.
6 Submit Monthly Membership Reports (MMR) on time in accordance with Lions Club International requirements. Send electronic copy to District Governor, 1st Vice District Governor,
2nd Vice District Governor and Cabinet Secretary.
7 100% of club elections held in April 2012 and submission of Officer Election Report (PU101) to LCI and a copy to District Governor and District Governor Elect no later than 10 May 2012.
8 Get more involved with our Youth projects. We must have a 75% club participation within the District in the Peace Poster Contest or visually impaired essay contest. Get youth more
involved with Lions and Lions activities. Work on involving entire family unit – not only will there be more hands to do the work, but we will increase the amount of time together with our
children and spouses.
9 Continue to work on developing and encouraging our Lions to become leaders in the club and district levels.
10 100% of ALL Clubs give to LCIF, Lighthouse, Camp for the Blind and Leader Dogs for the Blind.
11 Each Zone will conduct a quarterly ORIENTATION Program. Adapt, Improvise and Overcome

REGIONAL MEETINGS:
At least one Regional Meeting will be held and it may take the place of one Zone Meeting.
ZONE ADVISORY MEETINGS:
At least three Zone Advisory Meetings should be held in the 2011 – 2012 Lions year. The first should be held in early August/early September, the second in late October/early November, and the third in February or March. It is recommended that the second or third meeting be a Region meeting of two zones. Club Presidents and Secretaries are expected to attend these meetings and other Club Members are also ENCOURAGED to attend.
DISTRICT CONVENTION:
A District Convention will be held on 17 March 2012. ALL voting delegates from each Club are expected to ATTEND in order to elect candidates for the offices of District Governor, 1st and 2nd Vice District Governor and District Librarian.
